SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Spiritual warfare against a spiritual foe requires spiritual weaponry. The apostle Paul said "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strongholds." (2 Corinthians 10:4)

We are also told to "put on the full armor of God" in Ephesians 6:11. Catechumen has brought these spiritual weapons into a virtual theater in which you (the player) can see and utilize. The Sword of the Spirit, the Shield of Faith, the Breastplate of Righteousness, Words from the Lord (delivered by various Angels) and other biblical weapons are used to eradicate demons, devils and even satan himself!

THE WORD

These scrolls containing the Word of God are vital to the success of your quest. Whenever you pick one of these up, you notice that it increases your faith, which sustains your health and flesh.

"The Word of God is Life and health unto your flesh"
Proverbs 4:23

"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word"
Romans 10:17

"Putting on the whole armor of god.." Ephesians 6:10

"and the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.." Ephesians 6:17




THE OPPOSITION

ROMAN SOLDIERS:
These poor guys are demonically possessed. While they are not too smart, they can be very dangerous in groups. If two or more get a hold of you at the same time, consider yourself heaven bound!

To exorcise the demons that control the minds of these soldiers, just fire a burst of light at them from your Sword of the Spirit. Beware though, it might take several bursts before the soldier finally sees the wickedness of his deeds and repents!

"and these signs shall accompany those who believe. In my name they shall cast out devils..." Mark 16:17
DEMONS

While these little impish creatures are usually no more than an irritation, if they attack you in packs, they can be pretty formidable.

"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.." Isaiah 54:17


MINOR DEVILS

These are larger and more deadly foes than the demons listed above. These formidable opponents throw fiery darts at you and if they get close enought, can cause extreme damage. It is wise to load up on the Word of God before attempting to radicate these wily minions of satan.

"Take the Shield of Faith by which you may be able to quench all of the fiery darts of the wicked ones.." Ephesians 6:16
THE LIONS

Not only did the early Christians have to deal with these beasts in the Roman Coliseum, they had to contend with satan himself

"Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8

All scriptures are taken from the King James Version of the Old and New Testament. While these verses are not meant to be taken literally, (remember this is just a game) we do suggest that you study them for yourself to see exactly what the Bible says about spiritual warfare!
